D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club - Okotoks

After not playing there for 20+ years I returned to the course with three friends. It was a beautiful day and the course was in very good shape. The greens were fast and undulating as I remembered. It was a Wednesday and they were not too busy. We did not have anyone ahead of us and nobody was pushing us from the behind wither. The food afterwards in the restaurant was very good except the chicken wings which were a bit too dry. But the beer was nice and cold. I would return for another round. Note the entrance had been changed.

LoL .... I wasn't the winner, and I did it dinner !!! I did like my company .... AND the venue for dinner was unbeatable, when referring to the view or setting of the dining room at the Darcy Ranch Golf Course (one of the most beautiful golf course in Alberta) !! However, after dining here regularly for some time, I have to say, dinner is a hit and miss. I love to stop after golfing, and eat outside on the deck overlooking the 10th hole tee off and the 18th hole finish ... the sun is setting and the grass is a brilliant green. It feels decadent and I will continue to eat here. But some meals are a 2/5 and some a 5/5 . I can't even say which ones will be best, because some nights it's the "special" and other nights it's the tried and true 'favorite' from the menu, with the soup of the day . ( Their homemade soups are ALWAYS excellent !!) . The wait staff are terrific, kind, patient and friendly ... I do recommend you stop here to eat, but be forewarned ... sometimes dinner is better than other times ( sorry - just how it is ?!)

We held a beautiful wedding reception at D'Arcy Ranch in their banquet room. During our original visit to tour the space we met Barb and Deb, and they are both amazing. All the folks at D'Arcy Ranch are extremely friendly, and most accommodating. Our questions were answered quickly and accurately. The entire process of booking, choosing meals and bar service, availability to access the space whenever needed and time for set up and decorating, were all handled so easily and stress free. We chose a buffet style dinner, but there were wait staff available to serve the wedding party as well as a few of our elderly guests. Once again, I must state that the staff were so professional and polite throughout the evening and provided anything we needed quickly. The food was so well prepared, and delicious, especially the prime rib. Our guests complimented us throughout the evening on the amazing food and service. This hall is a hidden gem and what I would consider affordable. When I first visited, I was hesitant as it does seem a bit dark and has lower ceilings, but it truly has the ability to be transformed into a gorgeous space as you can see in the photos. We are so happy we chose this spot and would certainly recommend it to others.

We went for a business lunch and, despite the fact that they had a party of over 100 coming in shortly after us, there were no delays whatsoever. Our service was excellent, our food excellent, prices were so reasonable and, the view was amazing! We will definitely be back!

The meal was very good and they had some gluten free options. Scenery is beautiful and the waitress was very attentive and didn't rush us. Had a wonderful bottle of red wine and a delicious fudgy brownie for desert. I have been here a number of times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
