Sandalia - OLBIA

We were flying back from Olbia Airport to Europe and as we had make too good progress we wanted to kill time by grabbing a drink and a light bite to eat. To be fair we were desperate so pulled in the parking lot close to this restaurant on spec. It was clearly a restaurant inhabited by local artisans which, in itself, wasn’t a problem. However it seems that the majority of people sitting outside were Chainsmokers (we might have been unlucky). Although we have possible Italian when we tried to order some fairly straightforward things they didn’t make it easy for us. We just wanted something simple to eat and eventually we were able to communicate! At first, when they brought out us a plate of mixed food which, at face value, it looked very nice. Regrettably it was pretty substandard with stale bread on the sandwiches and something inedible on the plate that I can’t describe! To be fair at least it was cheap! One of the wait staff was very nice. We won’t bookmark this eating establishment should we be in the vicinity again!

Ci andiamo spesso con i colleghi per aperitivo pre cena o colazione, camerieri sorridenti e cordiali, specialmente la cameriera con gli occhiali.. si trova sempre posto e parcheggio.
