Old Lyme Inn

The food at The Side Door Jazz Club surpassed all expectations with its delicious flavors. The wait staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. The intimate setting of the jazz club, along with its excellent acoustics, made for a fantastic atmosphere. Additionally, the lineup of world-renowned Jazz artists scheduled to perform in the future was impressive. A night of dinner and a show at The Old Lyme Inn/ Side Door Jazz Club is a must-visit experience.

We had a fantastic experience at Old Lyme Inn as usual. The food was delicious, our tea was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff greeted us warmly and made our visit memorable. Thank you for a purely positive experience.

We recently visited a restaurant for their Wizard of Oz themed tea. The attention to detail was incredible! Unfortunately, they were out of one of the teas, but there were plenty of other options to choose from. They offered a nice selection of both sweet and savory items, though I found myself indulging too much in the sweets and should have focused more on the savory, as it was our main meal for lunch. Our server and the manager were fantastic, checking in on us frequently and providing excellent hospitality. I will definitely return for another tea experience in the future, especially when my daughter comes to visit.

Our food was very good and the service was excellent. Nice wine and cocktail selection. Limited choices for vegetarians, unless you eat seafood. Nice outside seating area. The restaurant automatically adds a 20% tip in order to provide a living wage for the staff (see small print on menu). But considering the excellent service, we would have tipped that much anyway. We will go again.

Lovely setting especially outdoors with good food and a friendly waitress, all together made a quiet Friday evening a nice ending to a busy week. We will be back with our friends.
