Pizzeria Da Vinci - OLD LYME

Originally a Da Vinci Pizzeria, La Mia is exactly what you hope in a local pizza shop. I order a *scallop and bacon pizza* just as it comes: conservative - after having pizza from five time zones in 10 US states - this is the best pizza I ever had! Everything is fresh, the crust is AMAZING (and I rarely appreciate crust) and the aromas mix and compliment each other amazingly good. But don't take my word for it! I couldn't keep it for me (for my own health, this cake is YUGE) so I got my staff too to try (they knew something had arrived, of course you can smell the scallops) and now they're all in love. 10/10 would recommend!

Holy cow... this was an incredibly delicious chicken cutlet bacon grinder!! In any case it was not expected!! As chef, I am very critical of properly made chicken stall and this place NAILED it. Super fresh everything, and even the bread was fantastic... very friendly service. Very recommended!!!

Really great pizza, but my only complaint is the online order/delivery. the delivery itself seems a little expensive and not all its menu items are available to order online. none of the desert options or even their Buffalo wings are on the grounds, so if you want to call and pick up. I admit it's a pretty lazy complaint, and the food is still really good. I also have a few undercooked pizzas and 3 times I got an uncut pizza-lol! but quality ingredients make for delicious food and that is really what it is all

Pizza is my favorite food and I love the creativity, crust and passion for pizza in La Mia Pizzeria! I love the daily specials and their 2 slices and a can for $5 can not beat for a lunch special. Your dessert section is always a nice treat and I bought some of the Oreo truffles for an occasion once because I wanted something delicious and homemade, which looks great and tastes great and they were a huge hit. Love that they wear local soda and chips, the local support is huge for me!

Local fave. I live around the corner and am so grateful to have a celiac-friendly option that is even more delicious (i think) than regular pizza! Also would like to note the strikingly excellent personal customer service when you pick up. Not the overly chipper obligatory stuff but seriously i always leave feeling that positive rush of a thoughtful efficient mutually beneficial transaction. Thanks!
