We started with some appetizers and drinks, then returned for dinner later, and even came back two nights after that. The calamari and fish tacos were both incredibly delicious. For our main course, we ordered the mahi mahi dinner with roasted vegetables, which were cooked to perfection, making for a truly wonderful meal. The waitstaff was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The restaurant's location, right at the beginning of our journey to Old San Juan, added to the charm, and the outdoor seating created a lovely atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed the diverse selection of dishes and small plates. The flavors were unique and delightful. Sitting outside in Old San Juan was wonderful, especially with the lovely breeze and the view of a cruise ship in the harbor. The service was fantastic, and we loved both the food and the atmosphere. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.
We had many great dinners in puerto rico. that wasn't one of them. while a similar check to the other restaurants that we went to $50 per person, the quality of eating was not almost as good as other restaurants such as oceano or cocina abierta. in addition, the sangria was a $28 pitcher of fruit juice. Stay away.
It would have been nice not to have had to ask 3 times for a glass of water, and despite asking for the seafood paella without the sausage, I still got the sausage. I was too hungry to send it back and just picked it out and passed it to my boyfriend. Wasn't the end of the world. It was expensive but old San Juan is expensive. The seafood tasted fresh, great Sangria, and opened table made it really convenient to just walk out of my hotel without worrying.
