Zhang's - Old Saybrook

TL;DR: Our dinner at Zhang was so enjoyable that we didn't want to stop eating! We moved to the coast about six years ago and were on the hunt for great Asian cuisine, but for some reason, we overlooked Zhang. What a mistake that was! Zhang's food is fantastic! I had the Pad Thai and my son ordered chicken lo mein, both of which were excellent. We also tried the steamed and fried dumplings, and they were amazing too. Since this was our first experience at Zhang, we definitely plan to return and explore more of the menu!

The sushi was excellent, and the service was commendable. All the dishes tasted fantastic and were served quickly. The restrooms were also very clean. However, I found some prices to be quite high compared to other sushi restaurants. Given the lack of impressive presentation, the prices don't seem justified, which might be due to their location.

I absolutely love Zhang's! Whenever I'm in town, I always make it a point to stop by. Without a doubt, it's the best Chinese food you can find on the coast. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

The first time to go there, it was the best tested Chinese food. We ordered fried rice comb (fried rice, fried chicken roll) and house special lo main spicy. Delicious, We will come back and the service was great. Thank you.

The food was tasty and the portions were generous, but it could use a bit more seasoning and vibrancy. I ordered the fried rice with chicken, pork, and shrimp, as well as a chicken noodle soup. I had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend it. I'll be returning, and I hope they enhance their dishes even further.
