Molla Gjestehus - Olden

Visited whilst ashore from P&O Iona. This is the 4th time in Olden, but the first time we have visited Mølla Gjesthus. What a cracking little place. It was so good that we made 2 visits in the same day. On the morning we sat outside and had hot chocolate. Decor is splendid and the Iona model/table is really good. Later in the day, we returned for a local beer. The IPA was splendid. Staff are wonderful, friendly and always give a great send off, when the ship leaves for the next port. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I give it a 10 for how welcoming they were after we were disembarked from our cruise ship. They let us stay there and even covered the house for what we ordered. I added a video of us crying as we watched the cruise ship leave with our dreams on board. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A great stop off after a trip up the Olden valley we enjoyed the pub it's along side the cruise ship port as we had been on P&O Britannia at this visit Price per person: kr 400–500 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We were driving by and decided to have a bite to eat in the evening, and this place was the only one that was open. We ordered a burger that was raw inside. They didn't finish eating and left. Nicely decorated, but no service. Price per person: kr 300–400 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful place! Handmade in wood. A lot of soul is invested. Delicious food. Home kitchen. Noble and hospitable host. I want to believe in this place!
