Bidra med feedbackCan always count on BP for consistently good food and service. I've never been disappointed here.
I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents. They felt that their waitress did not enjoy their job, and that serving them was a major imposition. This was on Wednesday, August 16th, at 5pm.This was a table of 6, four adults and two little girls, and everyone felt rushed by the server to get out of there as soon as they sat down. They had barely sat down when the waitress demanded their order. Everyone looked at each other like what is going on right now? And said they would need more time as they just been seated. That 's when the waitress set the mood for their dining experience, and seemed awfully annoyed that they didn 't know what they wanted yet. They would have left at this point, but both parties that met up for this dinner had driven a long ways to meet up, and everyone was tired and hungry. The young family drove from Calgary, and my parents drove from British Columbia. The table asked if they had sugar free coke, which the server responded we only have Pepsi products . After a small pause, they asked if they had sugar free pepsi. The server responded, we only have diet Pepsi . Everyone at the table was mentally face palming at this point. My mom asked the waitress questions about the menu and was receiving major attitude back. For example, when my mother asked what flavours of sweet wings they served, the waitress looked at her like she was from outer space, pointed at the menu and loudly declared it 's right there, just read that . My mother responded with I cannot read (she forgot her reading glasses). The waitress still just pointed and said they 're right there , offering no help when she could have easily just told her which flavours they offered. It probably took longer for her to try and teach my mother a lesson. After ordering, the adults noticed that the little girls had no cutlery, or water. So they asked the server for them, which they say felt like a major imposition based on how the server responded. She did not seem happy to help, rather, she seemed annoyed to help. After this, the mother of the young girls needed more water for herself. She asked the waitress which, you guessed it, responded in an annoyed manner. She never did get that refill, and she was too scared to ask for it again.Sounds to me like this server needs some more training on how to be a professional in the service industry. She is giving your restaurant a bad rep. They wanted me to stress that the hostess was very kind when they came in, and that their food was delicious, and to please give compliments to the kitchen staff.
Food was good, our Cactus chips were not all that crispy. The carbonara pizza was excellent. The service was poor, we had to ask for everything that we needed, and the waitress never returned to check on us until the bill. There was a family that was allowing their children to run back and forth through the area where wait staff was trying to walk. These were not small children. It's was disruptive to say the least.
Been working away from home staying at best Western for over a month. I've visited Boston Pizza 5 times in that span and 3 of those times I had to walk out after being seated and not having a server come and acknowledge I am even in the room. Super disappointing as sometimes after 12 hour day all a guy wants is some wings and a beer. Not to sit there awkwardly for 15-20 minutes then leave. On the times I was served the food was decent. Would rather just order take out but you don't get the daily deals so it's a lose lose.
Really good food and great service! Absolutely the best place for our Birthday Party!
