Urban Deli - Olongapo

Great food and place for breakfast. Was very impressed by everything. Beats Essen Hotel Essen nearby, even if it is free.

Expensive but very good food. Taste so good. If you're looking for sandwiches, pasta or burgers this is a must visit place. However, service water is not available. You must buy a bottled water.

Urban Deli is located close to the Subic Bay Yacht Club, but you'd need your own transport to get there from other areas as there's not much else in the immediate vicinity. The beef sandwich with french baguette was good, and probably large enough for two people to share. Service was excellent and very attentive. They also have a good selection of imported deli products such as cheese and cold cuts. The bread in the bakery section look delicious.

I like the sandwiches here, roast beef with soft roll is my favorite. Overall quiet Space, good for 3-4 friend or couples enjoy bonding time. I have been here more than 10 times. Import Beers Selection was the first attraction for me in the first few time. Bakery on ground floor swift my favor to their sandwiches since there is no subway here in Subic area. I have been to there in the morning enjoy the fresh air and view, a lagoon behind the scene was peaceful. A lunch with friends enjoy Steak and wine also a fun and relax experience. A Dinner at second floor can outlook to Yacht Club Harbor with sparking lights in the dark make a personal unwind space after working hard for a long time. Waiters are kind and passionate with warming greeting, feeling easy going to stay inside with nice service, comfortable, well served.

My first visit in three years after the covid lockdowns were lifted. This restaurant is still in the middle of a makeover. The second floor is yet to be finished. But the owners have a wonderful vision of an upscale restaurant, deli, bake shop, and wine store. I ordered Pasta Bolognese, and French Onion Soup. The pasta was fine; but the soup was too salty. I certainly hope the improvements in the restaurant don't miss the kitchen side as well. The staff in the front of house were courteous and eager to be of service. The menu prices are on the high side; so not much hoi polloi clientele.
