Ethnic Sandwich Shop - Omaha

My mom and I were craving a sandwich after spending a few hours at Lauritzen Gardens, so after a little hunting online found this place and decided to check it out. You definitely get the hole in the wall vibe upon entering and we were warmly greeted and told to take our time perusing the menu. We decided on splitting one of the cold cuts and the friendly owner suggested we get a combo (sandwich + side + drink for $9), so we chose the potato salad to go with our sandwich. Since it was our first time in, the owner gave us a second drink and brownie for free - that was a really nice touch. The potato salad was to die for, as was the brownie. The sandwich was great, the only improvement would be the bread - it tasted a bit like a bread you can get at any supermarket. Still, my mom and I left super satisfied and so happy we decided to check out this little joint. What a gem!!

Very unique. I loved her meatball sandwich on rotellas brot, the gale that took my order was very friendly and funny, I wish I would swing closer to omaha for a good sammy here. it is not your typical boring sandwich shop.

Ethnic rules! it is one of those places that is a great local gem. the workers are fantastic that they feel super welcome, which is great because it is such a small place, they are hanging in a round with them while they cook their food. not an indoor dining area, although it picnic table outside. ethnic does not try to be something that it is not. they focus only on what is important. I love the fatty. I don't live in town anymore, it's a must as soon as I'm in town. without unnecessary superficial typical restaurant grills it is still guaranteed - they will be back! much should be said that it is so easy to load, it is important, no one who eats...more
