El Portal - Omak

I went to the restaurant with my brother to celebrate his birthday. We didn't have to wait long to order or receive our food, even though it was busy. We were served free appetizers of chips and salsa, and when our carne asada and chicken enchiladas arrived, they were huge portions and delicious. The total cost for a meal and drinks for two people was around $35. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Every time we visit our property in Omak, we make sure to have a meal (and margaritas) at El Portal, and they never disappoint. The staff is very attentive, the food is delicious, and the salsa is amazing. If you like a bit of spice, ask them to make it a spicier version... it will blow you away!

I grew up in Southern California where I would often see a woman selling tamales for $1 outside a store. This restaurant is the closest thing I have found to that authenticity and the taste of her tamales. I have been to about 10 Mexican restaurants and this one is by far the best in terms of food and service.

Truly delicious food, cute family restaurant, friendly and prompt service. My DH had the chile Verde pork and I had the Sunday special, pollo asado. Large plates!

Our first time here atmosphere was great our waiter was amazing ,the coconut margarita was delicious and the food was a 10. We will be back on our next trip to Omak.
