Sonic Drive-in - Oneonta

David is such a wonderful gentleman—always willing to help! I would be thrilled to have him serve me at any time. He definitely deserves a raise!

The hot chocolate was basically BOILING brown water with no flavor, and I mean it was boiling, couldn't drink it for a long time and my daughter had a hard time driving with it out of fear of spilling it on herself, it doesn't need to be that hot people

The food was pretty good, but I didn?t like the manager, he was rude to people and they were working while he wasn?t, I think his name was David? I wanna say

I visited this restaurant a few months ago while I was in town for a funeral. Although I now live in California, I’m originally from Oneonta. The Sonic location here offers some unique drink options, and I had a few questions. David, the manager, came out to speak with me, and he was incredibly kind. He recommended a drink called Sun Drop, which I had never tried before. He was right; it was excellent! His friendly demeanor was really comforting during a difficult time for me.

My wife and I arrived at the Oneonta location just before 10 p.m., unaware that they were about to close. The lights were on, but the screens were dark. I pressed the call button, and I heard a friendly voice on the other end. She took our order, was very courteous and professional, and assured us that she would bring our food out as soon as it was ready, though the chicken would need a few extra minutes to cook. She appreciated our patience in advance. True to her word, the food was served promptly, and she greeted us with a smile, especially considering we had arrived just as they were closing, which meant a bit of extra work for her. My only complaint about the food was that the fries were a bit cold, but everything else was fine.
