Java Square - Opelousas

This is a delightful little coffee house with a laid-back atmosphere and comfortable seating. The service is friendly, and the coffee is excellent! They also offer pastries, which I didn't try, but they looked tempting. It's a fantastic spot for a meeting.

I needed a break from home, so I started looking for places to visit outside my city/parish. I can't express how happy I am to have discovered this charming coffee shop! Java Square Cafe is definitely a place I will return to whenever I get the chance. The unique vault room is fantastic, and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. As I sit here typing this, I'm enjoying the view of passing cars with the relaxing coffee shop music in the background. It's a perfect spot for a coffee date, studying, or getting some work done on the computer. Plus, I was welcomed with friendly smiles the entire time! The service here is exceptional!

Opelousas, LA. You can enjoy a great coffee in their old bank vault area, which resembles a jail cell, or mingle with remote workers in the front room. There's free limited parking available on the side or in front of this charming corner café. There are few places in town that serve high-quality coffee, so if you're just passing through, this spot is definitely worth a stop. Plus, right across the street is a courthouse with lovely landscaping, local artists' artwork showcasing Louisiana's unique style, murals, and statues.

The coffee was great! We had Americanos with half half and an extra espresso shot. The shop seemed like it had seen a lot of history. Service was great.

Came in the morning of 6/18 and the young lady running the store was amazing. She answered all our questions and had great recommendations. Handled our order and the others proficiently.
