Le Mas Des Geraniums - Opio

We have made a bad experience after the new possession of this facility, and we were once again disappointed about the terrible standard of food! Another terrible meal and the phrase 'clip joint' is the best way to describe our latest experience!

There is not much choice in opio to lunch, so this place tried hard, average food, but has a menu in the week that is at a competitive price. comfortable service, spacious parking

We had planned a nice family dinner. we should have left the first minute we arrived. welcome was unprofessional and uneasy. this continued served with appetizer, without even mentioning, and only a part of it. when she was asked, learned what that was, and then a missing part was brought without excuse. the red wine was warm as he had probably spent the whole afternoon in the sun. the main course, tataki, was overcooked, and we asked him to be changed. no word of excuse. the food was tasteless. we stopped and went without asking for dessert. we were less than satisfied with unprofessional, uneducated and inaccessible service. the two ladies are probably not connected to the owner or any interest in the restaurant, otherwise they would show minimal interest or care in the customer experience. Please avoid this restaurant if you want to spend a good evening with a good food and care service.

My sister and her husband decided to organize a lunch for our family at the Mas des Géraniums. We were treated poorly and the waiters forget our plates and to take the orders properly. We waited 45 minutes for forks and knives. When I went...to the bathroom, they insulted us and the manager of the restaurant refused to speak to us to apologize. I am shocked and disgusted.

When I heard that Le Mas des Geraniums had a new owner I decided to give a try. My wife and I were greeted warmly by the one and only waiter. Our table was situated outside under a plastic cover. I went for the €29...set menu (3 courses), my wife choose the sea bass. My first course; fish soup was tasty but just warm. I had the flank of beef for the main course; nothing special. For desert i had the panacota smothered in a sickly sweet jam. Not nice. My wife's sea bass was over cooked and dry, almost inedible. When I complained to the waiter she offered not to charge for the two glasses of wine. Overall experience a big disappointment and the final bill was €70. As a footnote we have a lot summer visitors staying at our property and it's does not enhance the reputation at all of the beautiful village of Opio to be let down by bad restaurants, whose main object is to charge the customer as much as possible for inferior quality food.Needless to say we shall not be going back again.
