Bidra med feedbackFantastic! It is a great place and the food is so fresh. If you are a shrimp fan, you should definitely get the shrimp Burrito. The spicy Mayo gives him a kick and if you like the heat, it's a great option.
Went there for a juice after dropping the kids off at school. The vampiro and jugo verde is what we ordered. Vampire was the best of the two but both were good and healthy option for a quick Blended Bite
Great place to eat! Very reasonable prices, quick service and delicious home-cooked food. I wish they just had more room to dine in.
My new favorite place to buy sweet bread (pan dulce) and eat a meal too. We ordered cheese quesadilla, french fries, taquitos combo with rice and beans, small pint of rice as a side and 2 sodas. Great prices, fresh food, quick service and beyond extremely friendly staff. Music made me remember traveling in my Mexico lindo y bello (lovely and beautiful). The atmosphere was great, very clean, very authentic. Really good price for the amount of food given. My hats off to the chef! The shrimp tacos combo w/ beans rice, exquisite. 2 eggs special included 2 bacon 2 sausages hash brown tortillas was great. Carnitas tortas was awesome! Strongly recommend this restaurant. Their bakery is connected and beyond great prices for their size of sweet bread.
Upon entering, I found the place to be pleasant and clean, with a cafeteria-style setup showcasing their food. It reminded me of Taqueria de Anda. The menu offered a solid selection, not overwhelming in choices, which I think is a common issue with many restaurants. Taking a chance, I ordered a Cali burrito and a couple of carne asada tacos, along with a Coke. Yes, it was a hefty order, but I felt compelled to sample enough to gauge the quality of the food. I took a seat at one of the clean wooden tables, which were fitted with sturdy, heavy chairs that I appreciated. The wait for my food was around 5-10 minutes, which filled me with optimism, as it signified that my meal was freshly made rather than sitting under a heat lamp for ages. Finally, my food arrived. The burrito was well-constructed and not overloaded with French fries like some places do; the carne asada was the standout ingredient here. All the other components complemented the meat beautifully. The meat was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection, featuring just the right amount of fat for a great texture. The guacamole had the perfect balance, not overly lemony, adding another layer of flavor. The overall size of the burrito was substantial and very satisfying—I can definitely see myself trying another burrito here based on how well this one was prepared! As for the tacos, they seem straightforward enough: meat, cilantro, onion, tortilla, and optional salsa. It’s hard to mess up something so simple, and if a place fails at this, I’m unlikely to trust them with more complex dishes. Fortunately, the tacos did not disappoint. The carne asada was similarly exceptional, served in generous portions with double tortillas, making them larger than your average street taco. They were fantastic on their own, requiring no extras. The texture worked harmoniously with the fresh, crisp onion—delicious, and I truly enjoyed them. In conclusion, I was pleasantly surprised by El Molino de Oro; the food was absolutely delightful. The staff were very friendly, and I genuinely hope they continue to thrive and serve what I would consider some truly excellent Mexican food. I look forward to trying more of their meats and dishes in the future.
