Mariscos La Jaiva - Orange

I decided to visit this restaurant because I was in the area and wanted to give it a try, plus it was conveniently close.

I drove 14 miles only to find out that it's closed, even though it says it opens at 11 AM.

I was at the printer in the same plaza and noticed their sign. I thought, "Why not? I love supporting new places." I'm so glad I decided to stop by! The atmosphere is really relaxed, and the California burrito was amazing! They definitely won me over. The staff was friendly too.

I think this place must have a new owner or something happened. All the pictures of the food, the menu and the warm family friendly atmosphere that are online are no longer available or current. The food quality and taste are below average. We will not be coming back in the future.

Worst experience probably ever. I was looking forward to coming here but It was closed 2 years ago. Maybe they are under a new ownership? Things have really changed from the pictures that are online, and it is sad to see that.Terrible paint and the place over all needs lots of work, bad music very loud, no specialty drinks and very few or limited drinks, service was ok, but not very friendly and not more then a 2 star on that. Rice was dry and hard, shrimp was blend, food overall is a zero and all the other food was bad for both I and my girl.Normally I don't really leave bad reviews, but this place really needs a lot of improvements.
