Sonny's Bbq - Orange City

Well, I think Sonny’s is going downhill. It used to be the best local bbq We went to Sonny’s on New Years Eve and the food just did not taste that good! We ordered the all-u-can eat ribs with the usual sides. Everything except the fried okra tasted weird-definitely not the usual and customary yummy taste that Sonny’s has been know for. The Okra was really delicious though. We will go back again at the end of the month and give it another try. I hope everything taste better next time

When you can test the love and effort they put in every meal that they make, I can say without any doubt, that is the place to be. The beef,the sauce, I can't get enough . Love it. Service is always excellent. The atmosphere makes you feel at home .

This location is phenomenal. I never have a problem with the food ever! I live in Deltona, and the Orange City location is so bad I just drive to Sanford just to sit with Shauna! THE BEST HUMAN BEING EVER! She’s is the bartender but she’s literally the best!!! If she’s working, I’m sitting with her! Sanford is so much better then OC, fast food, great service (if you sit with Shauna) I’m sure the other servers are JUST fine, I just prefer her! Skip OC and drive to Sanford! You won’t regret it!

We purchased 50 wings 25 rubI ebed and 25 smoked wings. As usual they were amazing and if you have never tried there wings I recomend you try them. We go to the one off of Saxton. Enjoy.

Before I share my own experience with this location, I read through other recent reviews and I am not surprised by the reviews that contain bad customer service. I lived in this opposite, most of my life and when this place was built, it was the one we visited. we have always been well treated and enjoyed coming to see server that loved their jobs. but that's gone long ago. this will be the last time that I ever eat again at this place, I would have " stayed near my house and eaten at my place, which knows how to treat customers with the southern hospitality. my family of 6 visited their facility on Sunday 08/28/22 and I have already spoken to a manager and contacted their company side and left an assessment with my contact information for someone who can reach me. if the guests spend their hard earned money in their restaurant, they should be treated with respect if they ask for seasoned or wish, not with attitude or my table being ignored. especially when I asked to talk to the manager (who had already seen a different table) and our server brings out a kitchen staff to deal with the problem. and he never did anything! he didn't do anything! it's not like I can get up and go to her kitchen and get these things for myself. I'm sorry that sonny's orange city, they didn't hit the mark.
