Küpkaya Kanyonu - Ordu

I have visited this place twice in a week when I was visiting Ordu. It is a family operated local business that I strongly recommend visiting for the following reasons: Food is great. We had grilled whole trout wrapped in grape leaves. Food came with 5 sides (on the house that are mostly local flavors. The menu is limited. If you are picky about what you eat, I suggest confirming ahead of time (calling is probably the best option the available menu items. Staff is friendly. The owners want you to have a good time not just while you are eating but for the entire time that you are there. Feel free to ask any questions about Ordu (nature, hazelnut, places to visit, culture, etc. The scenery will increase your appetite. The restaurant hotel is built on a small cliff next to a river. It has easy easy access (2 minute hike to the river. You can watch/hear the river as you eat your meal. You and your family can dip your feet into the cooling river on a warm day (strongly recommended . The staff can guide you to the local hiking spots, specifically ask for the one towards upriver as the Municipality of Ordu built a pretty nice hiking trail for visitors. Meant for families. Tables are clearly separated, and have a fair amount of space for groups (up to 8 is my guess or families with kids. Affordable. While I am not very familiar with cost of dining in Ordu, this place is certainly a bargain for what it offers. I suggest allocating at least 2 3 hours for your visit. If you are coming hungry, definitely call them ahead of time as they can start the food prep before your arrival (assuming they are not packed already . A pleasant breakfast place next to the canyon. A place where silence, taste and atmosphere meet. Although the bees were disturbed as a period, it did not cause a big problem with the helpful behavior of the staff.
