Today I got the beef burrito enchilada style and beef ended up being 1/3rd fat I couldn't even finish it. Ive never had this problem before since it's always been meat but it looks like Cafe Rio is starting to go cheap like the rest. R.I.P. Cafe Rio I won't be coming back.
I love cafe rio!!! Sweet pork salad every time! Been loyal to cafe rio anywhere I go!! HOWEVER FROM THE FOOD, TO THE SERVICE, TO THE EXPERIENCE OF THIS PARTICULAR CAFE RIO IS HORRIBLE!! I HAD A HAIR IN MY TORTILLA NO I AM NOT EXAGGERATING!! I got BROWN LETTUCE AND THE LETTUCE THAT WAS GREEN WAS NOT EVEN CUT IT WAS WHOLE LEAVES. I PUKED ALL OVER THE BATHROOM ONCE I PULLED THE HAIR OUT OF MY MOUTH… the restaurant was filthy. I thought it was a bad dream!! The whole staff is buddy, buddy and it’s an inconvenience for them to help, or make the disgusting mistake right!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION IT IS WORTH GOING TO THE NEXT CLOSEST ONE. I’ve experienced multiple bad times here. It’s the staff!! Not cafe rio!! Cafe rio is still amazing!! This location is not it!!!
I’ve ordered online a few times from this location and it’s been great until today. A cook who gave my order to me today named Ugo or Hugo, not sure. His manager Anna was polite but didn’t jump in to help me when the us cook was very rude to after I told him my order was made wrong. He had an awful attitude after I explained nicely what was wrong with it. I was quite escalated on my part because of his behavior. Terrible management and awful customer service considering all I did was ask nicely to remake it correctly. Cafe rios app doesn’t make it easy to customize items either. I won’t be returning to this location.
Used to love Cafe Rio, but the service and food quality has dropped as they have expanded. Went in there on the 29 of July, 2024 and the woman working the toppings area was absolutely horrendous. She has no place working any service position. The experience was beyond rude in so many ways and because of that I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon.
I made a stupid mistake and ordered at the wrong location (meant to order in Ogden). I spoke with Emily and she helped me cancel the order and get it moved to the Ogden location. She was super understanding and very helpful. Will definitely order from there when I’m in Orem! Thank you, Emily!
