Yamato Japanese - Orem

Yamato is our “go-to” sushi restaurant. I can always count on the sushi being fresh and delicious! We order takeout often, and the order is always finished earlier than the time they tell me.

Best sushi I've had in a long time. Also the service is fantastic, they are attentive, polite, and made us feel like they were glad we were there.

Ordered a Sapporo and hot saki before meal. Waiter said he could not bring it until I ordered food. I was served a warm beer that wasn't opened. The caterpillar roll came 45 seconds later. Obviously pre made. I eat out 5+ times a week. Maybe the service was based on my appearance. I just finished a 12 hour day in construction.

Super super delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, lots of options and cozy encironment. Perfect choice for a social, fun lunch with family.
