Couchiching Craft Brewing Co - Orillia

This was a great find, we went on a mid week break to Oreilla and while walking through town found this gem. I can’t fault a thing, the service was impeccable and our server even gave us tips of things to do in the local area. The food was 10/10 my partner got a burger and we shared a charcuterie board, our server explained all about what was on the board and the variety was excellent. We also tried some of the beers and none disappointed . Our favourite was probably the sunshine city light larger but we also loved The black river shiver. We had such a great time that we returned later in the evening and found there were doing a Christmas quiz, which was great fun, the atmosphere service and the people was amazing would 10/10 recommend and we will most definitely be back.

This place is popular for good reason! Great staff, great kitchen, and local live music regularly. Reservations recommended, when the music is on, the joint is hoppin’ Oh. And they make great beer!

Matt the trivia host and server extraordinaire along with the other chefs and servers were awesome for trivia night.

The 2nd star was for the beer. The service was abismal. We came in as part of an event this evening, and the waitresss who served us was incredibly rude from the get go. Whether I asked about what beer to get, if the food had cheese, or if there were other options I could choose from she made no effort at all to be friendly often scoffing or acting as though I had inconvenienced her with the slightest of questions. Absolutely terrible service I walked out after my beer, and won’t be back.
