Junior's Diner - Orlando

Una delicia. I try this fantasy pancake cuz the waitress Abby (amazing service) recommended and it was wonderful. I will come back soon!!!

I wish I could give this restaurant a higher rating; the staff were incredibly friendly. I ordered the Carnitas Tacos, and they were loaded with pork, which I appreciated. However, they were a bit dry overall. I also think I received flour tortillas instead of the corn ones I requested. While the flour tortillas were quite sturdy, they were grilled a bit too much, making them somewhat hard. I did enjoy the warm chips that came with the meal, but I wasn't a fan of the salsa. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling quite sick after dinner. It wasn’t food poisoning, but the meal just sat heavily in my stomach. I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was disappointing.

This is a small restaurant with a standard atmosphere. The cook was busy, and Haklim didn't jot down our order, resulting in a few missing items. However, the food that we did receive was well-prepared. The service was quite slow, and our food had to sit in the waiting tray for a while, but the staff were all very friendly. Be aware that there's a credit card fee, so it's best to bring cash if possible.

After visiting the nearby gardens for lunch, I enjoyed a freshly prepared and delicious Pollo Asado. It came with fried beans, rice, and tortillas. You can save a bit by paying in cash.
