Mecatos Bakery Café Downtown - Orlando

My new favorite place to go! They tend to have a wait time but it?s worth it. Their Mallorca sandwich and empanadas are top notch, iced coffee is exactly as how it should be made, and all of the pastries (such as strawberry and dulce de leche topped cookies) are equally just as good.

Excellent coffee, customer service and ambience! The coffee has a very rich flavor unlike many larger brand names (which shall not be named). Would love to visit again for sure!

They need management to step in. There?s chaos with the employees trying to remember who ordered what. They have no systems in place. No one cares if they have you waiting 30+ min for your food and when you ask where it is you?re told ?they forgot because they got a large order?? no apologies. Then it took another 15 min for 1 Arepa. This has happened to me twice. Food is good but I cannot handle the lack of professionalism.

I was so impressed by the variety of pastries and items available! My boyfriend and I had just eaten but we both had coffee that was really good. I had an iced coffee with caramel and he had a cafe con leche. We have talked about going back several times now because there were so many delicious-looking things we want to try!
