Siam Garden Thai Orlando

I was quite disappointed, feeling almost insulted by the experience. The serving of mango sticky rice was hardly more than a children's portion, resembling a small hockey puck of sticky rice. The mango slices were minimal and the rice appeared to have been shaped in a hamburger patty mold. The gravy for the lad na lacked flavor, though it improved somewhat when I added chili oil — which I had to ask for twice because it was omitted, despite my request, and I likely ended up paying extra since the overall bill felt overpriced. I definitely won't be returning.

Honest review: I'm really disappointed because this is currently the only Thai restaurant nearby. I used to visit often, but my last three experiences have been Good, Okay, and Terrible. The Curry Duck was disappointing; the sauce was watered down, the frozen vegetables were cold, and the duck seemed at least two days old—everything on the plate was served cold. The Curry Beef Tofu had just four thin slices of cold blended beef with absolutely no flavor. The quality of the food during our last visit was terrible. The spring rolls were just frozen ones that had been microwaved and cut in half, and I don't even want to get started on the calamari. I've never seen calamari like that before—long and stringy. To make the plate look fuller, they simply smashed it and fried it, which is quite a clever trick, I suppose. Sadly, this will be our last visit.

I used to enjoy dining here and ordering takeout, but something has changed. Recently, I ordered takeout—just one curry—and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. My husband arrived on time, but then he ended up waiting another 30 minutes without being served! He watched as other customers came in and were served before him, and there was a girl who had been waiting for an hour before he got there, still without her food. It was an absolute disaster and a disgrace. I would not recommend this restaurant! By the way, I tried calling to inform them that my husband had left and to voice my complaint, but there was no answer. Later, when I tried again, I discovered the phone line was disconnected!

Had a very nice lunch here with a friend. We kept it simple we both ordered the chicken pad thai. I personally had mine mild and my friend had medium heat. I must say the medium was extremly hot to me when i tried a bite. Both were served so quickly, I was truly impressed. Food was hot and fresh. Portions were a good size and felt like a fair price point for what was given. I enjoyed the Atmosphere a lot, felt chill, peaceful vibes from the moment we walked in. Will certainly go back again.

I’d avoid this place until they get their act together. Bad service and ripped off.I ordered the Panang Large Whole Red Snapper fish. Market price was $45. The large is supposed to be a 1.8 pound fish. What I received looked like it was 1/3 that weight and nothing more than the carcass of a fish that had been filleted. It was a big head, a tail, and a scrawny mid section with about 5 bites of fish meat left. I spoke to the manager (or rather the manager argued with me) and I left very disappointed. For a $45 fish dish, I expect to get what I paid for. Service was bad. Took about 50 minutes from order to receiving food. Two (of three) dishes were only kind of warm. No explanations or checking with our party. Staff just hanging out in the booths. Needless to say, I will be looking for a better Thai restaurant. Could not be more disappointed. I am a little angry.
