Avoid it, especially if you have a serious food allergy.
I had a great experience at the restaurant! The service was friendly, and Jackie was particularly attentive, ensuring we received our orders promptly. I tried the wings, and they were delicious—well presented and cooked to perfection. I'm looking forward to trying the burger next!
The drinks were great, and Katie really made my evening! Her service was exceptional—she managed the entire bar all by herself! However, I have a concern. Hey Double Tree, do you really require your bartenders to set up and break down a full bar every single day? That seems excessive. Katie has more important things to focus on, like providing excellent service to her customers. Just my two cents, but spending an hour each day moving bottles from one place to another seems pointless and a waste of resources for Double Tree.
Sixty South is decent for hotel dining. The bartender, Bis, was absolutely delightful and made me feel genuinely welcome. The food was quite basic with options like burgers, wings, salads, and flatbreads on the menu. I opted for the cheddar burger ($16), but it didn’t taste like it was made from freshly ground beef. Traditionally, I would expect a burger to come with a side of fries or something similar, but there was none offered. That was okay for me since I wasn't too hungry, but if you're looking for a substantial meal, I would recommend ordering a side. Overall, it’s perfectly acceptable for hotel food, but if you have the energy, I'd suggest seeking out a restaurant off-site.
