Pizza Hut Ormeau

First of all, the gluten-free pizza here is absolutely delightful. Secondly, the staff working tonight from 7:30 to 8:00 PM (June 17, 2022) deserve a raise after handling what my family and I witnessed. We arrived to place our pizza order before doing our grocery shopping and walked in on a group that was verbally abusing the staff. Despite the situation, the staff remained calm and composed. I'm relieved to see that all the employees are okay and unharmed. I would suggest implementing better security measures for the staff in light of incidents like this one.

The staff was extremely rude. An hour before closing, one of the employees answered the phone and told us they could no longer serve us.

I placed an online order at 7:35 PM with an estimated delivery time of 8:05 PM. By 8:45 PM, I hadn’t received my order, so I drove to the restaurant to inquire about it. I showed them my confirmation email for the online order and even spotted the delivery driver on his way to deliver my food. Unfortunately, when the pizza finally arrived, it was cold, and the drinks were incorrect. Overall, the service was disappointing, and the meal was not what we expected. Price per person was around $40–60.

I ordered a pizza for delivery online but when I saw the time was going to be too late for my children to eat, I phoned to cancel the order. When I got onto the store, the lady told me it just got out of the oven and we’re about to be delivered and the online ordering over estimates the delivery time. The lady drove the pizzas to me herself when she doesn’t usually do deliveries. She was such a kind soul, thank you so much. That was really lovely. I wish I asked her name to give her the recognition she deserves. Kid-friendliness: The employee wanted to make sure my kids got the delivery before they had to go to bed.

They’ve got my business. Just had the nicest service and best pizza! It was so fresh, the base was perfection and it was just super enjoyable. Sorry Dominos, I’ve been converted. Ormeau Pizza Hut for the win!
