Pappa's Pizza Land - Orono

Sunday March 8th. I ordered at 6:45 PM and picked up at 7:08 PM (surprised it was ready for pick-up so soon). I am a regular and have been ordering from Pappa 's Pizza for many years. This evening the pizza crust was so overcooked it...was difficult cutting it with a sharp knife. The crust was like trying to chew cardboard but wouldn 't soften-up. I did call to let them know about this and the response I received was we make it the same every time and sorry . If I would have been a first time client, guaranteed I would never order again or recommend them. I always looking forward to their pizzas and was very disappointed to the fact I couldn 't eat.

I have ordered pizzas from pappas several times and I always get excellent service and fast delivery. They have so many interesting toppings and specialty pizzas. They are great for parties because there is something for everyone.

Placing a large order was very easy and the clerk was friendly and helpful. Picked up the food on time, and correct and it tasted pretty good. When picking up the location didn't seem very clean. After eating all the guests didn't feel well and had stomach problems. Might have been a one time thing, but I don't think I'd go back.

I have ordered pizza from this restaurant multiple times and it was just okay, but this time I decided to try their crust hoping it would be better. Unfortunately, the crust was dry, tasteless, and so tough it felt like it could break glass. The pizza had no mozzarella cheese, which I have never heard of on a pizza before. When we called to inquire about the missing cheese, we did not receive a satisfactory answer. We have decided to never order from this restaurant again and have lost our business. I would give them only one star, but I wish I could give them a lower score.

Service is excellent, but pizza need a lot more carefree when installing is. thin crust means you can eat it with your hands? not a supper spoon
