Verve - Orono

I only ate her burritos and had coffee there, but the location is great and the products great. I wish they had a pig boy Burrito... You lost half a star there because pulled pork is really the best and if you have a burrito place, you should have it. They lost half a star because of their hours. I wish they were open sooner and stayed open later. A fantastic place.

Simple menu with great choices. The Burritos are massive and tasty. Various salsas for different flavors and spice levels. The staff have aways been friendly too!

Excellent locally owned counter service/fast casual restaurant specializing in burritos. The burritos (and also burrito salads which I order frequently) are delicious they offer a great selection of meat, bean and vegetable fillings. I also enjoy the daily specialty salsas and sour creams and the coffees/teas and cookies I have tried so far were tasty. Atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and I appreciate the fact that they offer real plates and silverware for customers dining in. I have two suggestions/complaints (which are the reason for the 4 star vs. 5 star rating): Please stay open later in the evening (even 9 pm would be better than 8) I walk downtown for dinner after they are closed fairly frequently Get a big tortilla press and make a fresh tortilla for each order the best burritos I've ever had were at Pancheros, a similar chain in the midwest, which did this

The Verve is a great place for a quick bite to eat. They have a location in Orono and Bangor and I find myself going to both of them very often. Their smoothies are delicious but be careful because the milk and yogurt have added sugar in them. Ask them to use a banana in lieu of that stuff. My favorite meal there is a big burrito because it fills me up and I get to customize it just how I want. Support local, this is a great place.

The food here is incredible! The coffee is beautifully prepared, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. It's a fantastic place to either make a quick stop or visit regularly. One of my favorite places in Orono!
