Roald Umberto - Oslo

This is a genuine Italian restaurant located in the heart of Gamblebyen. It is also our go-to restaurant, as we have always been pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. However, a few years later, we were disappointed. The restaurant seemed to have declined in quality, with frozen seafood served and complaints about reheating in the microwave.

The dining experience was fantastic. The owner even started singing during dinner, which really added to the ambiance. I will definitely be returning.

We ordered pasta and pizza at this restaurant, but our order was not taken promptly. After waiting for an hour, the pasta portion was very small - only a handful. It was not worth the high price of nearly 200. I would not recommend this place.

The atmosphere is the experience. Sometimes it's great, sometimes okay.

Great food friendly owner and staff will definitely be returning to this restaurant when back in oslo
