I tried both the latte and cappuccino during my visit. The espresso leaned towards the bitter side, which might be due to over-tamping and not properly timing the shots. I was a bit put off to see Torani syrups on offer, but I was pleased to discover their homemade vanilla syrup instead, which I enjoyed immensely—I prefer to avoid Torani products in my drinks. They don’t make a big deal out of the house-made vanilla syrup, and I only noticed it during my second trip. The owner was very nice, although some of the other staff were not as friendly. However, the service overall wasn’t bad. I was also happy to spot their Diedrich roaster, as it’s known to be one of the better roasting machines available. Overall, I would recommend this place.
