Stag Cafe - Otaki New Zealand

The Roast Beef with roasted vegetables and salad at this restaurant was absolutely delicious and filling. My niece and I both enjoyed it. It was very reasonably priced at $14.50, but they may need to consider raising their prices.

The renovation is fantastic. The Stag Cafe is a wonderful new addition. The beer is consistently good and the staff are excellent. This place embodies typical Kapiti Coast and Otaki hospitality. Visit to soak up the sun, and then head here to relax and unwind.

My family and I went here without any expectations and were absolutely impressed and surprised by the quality of our meals. It was steak night our steaks were cooked exactly as we'd requested, blue and rare. The accompanying fries, mushroom sauce, garlic butter and salad were outstanding and complemented the sirloin perfectly. At only $15, the value here is unbeatable one would expect to pay at least $30 for a steak this good in Wellington. Thanks Family Hotel for a great meal, we'll be back!
