Wrong menu, according to the Menu, my Ramen should contain vegetables, but it definitely contained chicken. Disgusting toilet. Around 30 min Waiting time. Had to change my seat twice. Never again. You can find better food everywhere. Don’t waste your money and time.
Very delicious halal ramen!! Will come back if I'd ever visit Kyoto. It's a bit of a distance from the subway station but while walking to the restaurant you'll be able to see a lot of hidden gems of Japan.
Whenever we travel to a country whose most of the population are not Moslem we always try to find a halal restaurant and found this through Google map. It has 4 stars reviews so we decided to try it. Unlike other restaurants we visited in Japan, we were quite shocked to see the cleanliness standard in the small restaurant was quite terrible, we get an impression that the owner or whose runs the place doesn’t care to much about it. We found the taste of the food to be just ok, we ordered Kyoto Limited Soupless Noodle and Spicy Miso Ramen We are giving this 2 stars with the hope that the owner improve the cleanliness of the place.
Naritaya is a halal certified restaurant that is popular among Muslim travelers. The ramen and the rice bowl are delicious, they come in right size. I would totally recommend the food here! Just like other casual Japanese restaurant, The place is not really spacious and doesn't offer high chair, so baby stroller should be folded. The rest room isn't really big for baby diaper changing. Btw, there is a little dedicated prayer space with dedicated ablution.
Best place to try halal ramen in Kyoto! They also serve vegetarian menu (though I think they will provide it by request, since I don't find one in the menu). The staffs are able to communicate in English and all writings are both in Japanese and English, so you won't be confused when ordering. You will also find a praying room here, so you won't need to worry to find one during your trip in Kyoto. P.S. you also should try its Mazesoba. It's nice, though it's a little bit salty to my taste
