Koshū - Otsu

This was such a fantastic restaurant to rest after exploring the Ishiyama-dera temple. The food was delicious and I loved that I could taste Funazushi in this restaurant. The food was so great and the staff was wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing and I could plan my further plans and enjoy the food here comfortably. If you're in the area, you should try.

Visited in January 2020. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was delicious. I speak Japanese, but my partner has no problem as they have information in English, including their food guide!

If you want to visit Ishiyama-dera, stop at this place and try their delicious food. You have a menu with various local products (and also a guide in English how to eat them properly. And of course try the Funazushi (copper with rice, basically sushi fermented for a year! . The staff is beautiful. Definitely recommended.

趣のある店内。裂きたて、焼き立ての鰻。 甘辛い濃いめのタレ焼きでご飯がすすむ。 ノンアルコールビールでお酒は我慢！ 石山寺の近くで観光にもピッタリ！ 鰻の熟鮓が美味しかったー！ 鰻料理は待ち時間も楽しみのひとつ。 ご馳走様でした
