Lapointe Seafood Grill Sushi - Ottawa

Portions are reasonable. At least they offer fresh cut fries unlike many places that only offer frozen potatoes. Unfortunately they offer coated sea scallops.....never expected that. That leaves them wet.One guy who is starting a beard, must have been using some type of fumigation, because he sure had a horrible, sickening odor.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lapoint Restaurant in Bells Corners, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This hidden gem has truly mastered the art of creating unforgettable dishes.The sushi at Lapoint Restaurant is, without a doubt, out of this world. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were immediately apparent in every bite. From classic favorites like the California roll to their unique and innovative creations, each piece was a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. It's evident that the sushi chefs here take their craft seriously, and it pays off in every mouthwatering morsel.For those who appreciate a different kind of culinary delight, I can't recommend their fish and chips enough. The fish is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips are the ideal accompaniment. It's comfort food at its finest, and the taste is simply amazing. Whether you're a fan of seafood or looking for a hearty, satisfying meal, Lapoint's fish and chips are a must-try.Equally impressive was the service at Lapoint. The staff was not only attentive but also genuinely friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Their knowledge of the menu was evident, and they were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. It's clear that they care about providing a top-notch dining experience.

As someone with severe gluten intolerance I was thrilled to discover GF fish chips on the menu! I was even more thrilled that it was delicious!! Such a generous portion that I shared a piece with my gluten loving husband and he loved it as well. I’ll be back for more!!!

Apparently this is $44 of halibut…. So tiny? What is this? I can’t even tell if it’s halibut? Looks nothing like the pictures of all the other fish and chip reviews. It’s also really soggy. Don’t even bother. Extremely overpriced. I’ve had better halibut at chip

The service was quite nice, but the food is bad, the salmon burger taste like cat food, the dessert is also bad and overpriced.
