Fils is a family owned well run 'old school ' diner that serves great food at reasonable prices.Seating is comfortable in upholstered booths or at the lunch counter.Enjoy the attached pub or bowling alley.

An excellent diner. Good, fresh coffee, friendly service, and well priced food. The breakfast club sandwich was exactly what I wanted can't wait to go again.

Last time we'll visit ever. Absolutely disgusting. Fil's has gone downhill. I feel sick to my stomach. The batter on the BF's fish and chips was raw, made him sick to his stomach. I ordered a HOT chicken sandwich and the chicken was literally ICE COLD only the bread and gravy was heated. Chicken is not even actually chicken, it's sliced sandwich meat chicken. Not impressed at all. Thanks for making us sick to our stomachs. Never again.

Will be the last time we eat here. Food was garbage. Gf ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken was ice cold. I ordered the fish and chips and the batter on the fish was all raw underneath. The first big bite of the raw batter made me feel sick to my stomach. The fries were not even that good.

The platonic diner experience. I haven't been to a place in ages that felt so much like an authentic diner. Perfect music, very good and simple food, wonderfully classy art up on the wall. If I'd ordered a milkshake it would have completed the experience. Strong recommendation, if just to soak in the vibe and feel like a part of history.
