McDonald's - Ottawa

The location is very ideal for this setting of the LGBT village! One of the ladies gave my little boy a free drink, which made him thrilled because of her smiles and greetings! One regret though, the drink tank is hidden behind the counter, which symbolizes distrust from the establishment to the patrons. The drinks are so cheap and filling, and no need to save those pennies in the book keeping of this franchise.Kid-friendliness: Yes.

I would avoid if possible. The staff are nice. But they have missed or screwed up my order 5 of the last 6 times I've been there. Won't be going back if I have a choice.

I waited 45 minutes for my mobile order. I understand the need to restrict access to the store at night, but the ordering experience is terrible when this happens. You can't verbally order at the window; instead, you need to use the McDonald's app. If there's a discrepancy between what's available in-store and what's on the app, you won't know until after ordering and will likely end up waiting outside for a long time for an order that isn't being made. At the 30-minute mark, I tried flagging down an employee but only received a blank stare through the glass door. I later found out that one of the dipping sauces I had chosen for my meal was not available, so my order was not created in their system. No one informed me when I initially gave my order number. It was a frustrating experience, and I would rather eat my underwear for dinner than come back.

"I ordered a Big Mac meal and paid extra for large fries, only to discover a half-empty fry container when I got home. It was disappointing to find that the amount of fries was equivalent to a small fry, or even less. I hadn't even taken a single fry out of the box before noticing this, leaving me disgusted and extremely unhappy."

Unkept and dirtier than what I'm used to with McDonald's. Not sure if it's always like this or they were just out of stuff but they had a very limited menu lacking many of the staple items (like quarter pounders) which was unfortunate. With fast food, a smooth and standard experience where I can order my go-to meal without issue is what I hope for, and this location didn't meet that standard
