The Beachconers - Ottawa

This icecream and coffee shop is small but lovely and cozy. Icecream is good and so is the coffee and pastries. Scones are delicious. They also sell works by local artists. For some reason doesn't show up on Google Maps when searching for coffee

The ice cream is really good and they have unique flavours. London Fog and Honey are my favourites. Perfectly located near the beach.

This little ice cream parlour is located steps away from Britannia Park (and beach), and right along the bike trail. So, it is a perfect place to stop for ice cream on a hot summer day (or ANY day, for that matter). They have a nice variety of unusual flavours, so you'll have to keep coming back to try them all. Or you can ask for samples on a stick. I had rhubarb crumble. My friend had chocolate peanut butter. Yum! Slightly expensive, but you get a good portion.

Great ice cream made on site. The mint chocolate was really good. The coffee place attached had great baked goods, sandwiches and espresso. A funky stop we really enjoyed.

Made sure to park near Britannia Beach when we went biking on Sunday morning, just so that we could try out the ice cream here after finishing our ride. So hard to choose from all the creative flavours on the menu...which means we'll have to keep coming back again and again this summer. Definitely looking forward to our next bike ride, mainly for this sweet reward!
