Villa Lucia - Ottawa

I would like to start leaving future mosquitoes, the Villa Lucia is an amazing place for a special occasion! Our server Rico was totally amazing, he took care of us like family, I went personally into this facility as long as it was opened... 1984. The owners were great, it is definitely a family business. Entertainment and food should die. This is a restaurant with a stop! It will not come together perfectly for couples and adult family! I give him 5 stars! St. John's bread

We decided to go with our friends last minute for New Year's Eve and find out that they still have tickets for 8 people for $95 each. They opened the door on pm and they were very organized by starting with the coat. Our table was close to the front and dance floor. It was really well decorated for the festive and stylish and good ambience. Everyone was well dressed for the party and even the big screen for countdown. The music was very good, mostly Latin and well mixed with other types of music. The performers were 2 singers (man and woman) and they are very good singers and performers. The food was really good for what we paid..it started with soup, salad and penne. The main entrance had 2 choices of Sirloin Steak with gravity or chicken, but they were both good. The price also includes dessert and coffee/tea. Alcohols were not included, but you can buy it there... You also have a choice, your own wine or champagne for $20 each bottle of cork fee. This restaurant has live music every Friday and Saturday. The overall experience was very good, except it was far from where we live, because we live in the eastern end and it was in the west end. But we really had fun and I will recommend this restaurant. I will definitely go back for her next NYE celebration.

They were aware of the big group that came (300) and should add additional employees. The food was sub par. Coffee and desert were served about 1 hour later. Washing rooms are not sufficient for large masses (3 stands only). The prices for alcohol and wine were also high. I would not use this facility for any big event.

The food was an overpriced choice of several meat or vegetarian ducks almost all with the same tomato and cheese sauce. We were a party of fourteen on a not excessively busy Saturday night recently. The waiter couldn't handle the food or wine orders straight.... He would bring the wrong wines (there is only a choice of red or white among house wines) and mix the ducks, but finally she baptizes. This is one of the few dining places around Ottawa, which was a dance floor and the very talented singer (Alex Lopez) was the only redeeming part of the evening. There is a large and comfortable parking directly in the restaurant. To supplement injuries, the smell of cigarette smoke near the entrance of the mantle is quite strong, although smoking is not allowed.

Food was just ok. Waiters should know more about their wines and more than their house wine should be offered by the glass. Also didn’t like that our server did not tell us that the gratuity had been added to bill already. Many older people...didn’t see that and double tipped. The good thing was the band was great!
