Beijing Oy - Oulu

Horrible customer service by one of the waitresses. Can't recommend for families with smaller children.

We ordered the food with a starter and after one hour we got the starter which was two spring rolls for 7 persons. The food took to long to come and we got the wrong orders.

This is a typical chinese restaurant near the marketplace of Oulu. You don´t be disappointed of the buffet with many selections.

Pretty standard Chinese lunch buffet with standard price (app 10eur). Nothing special but nothing to particularly negative either.

I visited this restaurant as I fancied some Asian food whilst staying in Oulu, I had passed it the night before and noticed it was empty, I should have read Tripadvisor more closley before stepping in. Some reviews say this is the best Chinese in Oulu, having walked around alot looking for one it may be able to claim the title if it is the only Chinese in Oulu! I have very high expectations when it comes to Asian food, so I need to write this review for the right reasons. The starters are the standard selection across all poor chinese restaurants. I nearly had to use the age old joke about the chicken sayat sticks being rubbery oh thank you very much . Quite possibly the most rubbery deep fried chicken ever! The rest is not worthy of a review, just to warn you of MSG on a major scale. I sent my main course beef dish back because it looked like sliced beef but felt like slimey something not beef.This seemed to upset the manager and although I wanted to leave and pay for what I had eaten I asked for a replacement pork dish. Same problem with the small portion I recieved. Maybe expecting a good Chines in Northern Finland was a bit ambitious but if Chinese peole are eating in it when you arrive it looked like a reasonable place. my advice is walk on by there is a good kebab and pizza restaurant around the corner.
