The Cast Net - Overton

I was in Min. For a month. Last Fri. I went to eat at the Cast Net and found they had closed. I really hate that. That was my favorite place to eat also as well as others at my church (Sharon Baptist). Their food was wonderful and I loved the staff and owners. There are so few eating establishments around here and this was by far my favorite. Jo Martin????

The location is carthage is very good! Huge shrimp!

This past Saturday we had my grandmother’s Birthday party I reserved the banquet room in advance. We had a large group our waitress was really nice, kept our drinks filled service and food was great!! We had a great time!!

Overton welcomed the Cast Net with open arms and from what I understand, will not be opening back up. The restaurant is advertising a new business in Carthage. Don't you think you owe the people of Overton an explanation instead of just closing the doors?

My husband and I had the grilled shrimp. Our shrimp was cold, the shrimp appeared to have been BATHED IN RED SPICES, you couldn't even taste the shrimp from so much spice on them. Our loaded baked potato was cold. I literally put it in our waitresses hand, it was that cold. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!! Also the waitress was very apologetic but very good. By the way, this would be at the Carthage location
