Tanteo - Oviedo

We are new to this city and visited this very cute restaurant for lunch one week after arriving. Our slow Spanish was not up to the job of communicating with the very surly waiter. Even so, we enjoyed our meal very much. This was due to the friendly chef who checked on us several times, and the delicious food. We had marmitako a delicious tuna and potato stew, with good fresh bread, roast chicken, flan, wine and coffee all for less than 25 euros. They offer a half menu del dia (just one course plus dessert), which was a great option for us. We plan to return to try more of this chef’s food and hope the waiter will be in a better mood next time!

Menú excelente, tanto por calidad como por precio. Trato muy amable y cercano. Gran ubicación en el centro de Oviedo!

Ha sido un gran descubrimiento de sitio tanto para desayunar, como tomar una caña con pinchin como para comer. El menú del día es casero, con comida tradicional y está riquísimo. La fabada y la tarta de queso un 10 y el pincho de tortilla también! El trato es excepcional y te hacen sentir súper a gusto cada vez que vas.

Local agradable, bien decorado, trato muy profesional. Y muy importante, la música muy bajita. Y para remate no se pasa frío, lo que es raro en los locales de hostelería de Asturias.

I love this bar, the decoration reminds me of the coast of cantabria or biarritz, very cozy and beautiful. Good coffee. Good waiter, good service. it is in the center, but not in the core, but it is worth moving. it has a small terrace on the sidewalk.
