Minnesota State Public School Orphanage Museum

Just great to have this history, it's not all good but it is our Minnesota history. Sad and sometimes brutal, yet there were success story's. The cemetery is a dreadful reminder.The buildings are beautiful and some times very creepy.

Very interesting place, will recommend to family and friends.

A very interesting historical place. sad story behind the necessity of the structure. they can make a self-guided tour with stops that share pre-recorded performances over the different locations. the recordings are carried out by an earlier dweller. incredible! they bring a toy and leave it on the cemetery.

Well, I work in the building. I visit every day. The building and grounds are worth the visit.

During our visit, we gained a lot of insights and wanted to learn more about the children who stayed there afterward. They offer excellent resources, including books and movies. It's definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.
