East Side Mario's - Owen Sound

Came with my family to watch the Blue Jay's game 3 ALDS Was kicked out at 10:15 even though the game wasn't over because they wanted to close.

I had the chance to dine here for lunch _Arrived around 11:30 and was greeted instantly by a server.

I ordered a Canadian pizza and it had shoe mushrooms on it. Really hard to keep them from rolling off on to the floor. The server was quite cheerful but a few large tables came in after 9 pm and there were too few servers but not unusual due to the hour. Overall an ok experience.

We drove around in Owen Sound, looking for a dinner place and the shower began to fall. We saw the sign and went in expecting just to crush our hunger. We ordered wings and salad for starters and then a pizza and penne for 4 of us to share. Before we could think of something else, the waitress said they might be enough and could order more later after we finished what we ordered. It turned out that it was just enough. The food was better than we expected because we had been to other restaurants under the same banner. The icing on the cake was they gave 10% off if you hold a CAA membership card!

We were looking for a place for a late dinner. A lot of places were closed in town but we kept looking and found this restaurant. It's a familiar chain with a good reputation. The food we had was delicious. A good family restaurant.
