Lawlers Barbecue - Owens Cross Roads

We had the BBQ pork plate (w macaroni and beans) and the pigs nachos. The pig didn't have much taste. Makkaroni tasted much like KFC's Mac n cheese and the beans weren't much to write. The roll was over boiled. The nachos had a good taste. That was my first visit and probably my last one.

The brown bag lunch is fast and delicious. Love to get this on my way to work at least twice a week.

Good food and very clean and nicely built dining area. I wanted to try the smoked turkey, bbq beans, potato salad, and Brunswick stew. Everything was great but the turkey was really all that I was after. Good stuff and the sweet red bbq sauce was ?? The wait staff was very nice and service was prompt once ordered. I wanted to try something local since I was passing through town on business.

Love a Lawlers baked potato!! I always get ham and sometimes the meatless. They are consistently good and worth the rush hour waits! People are always nice and friendly at the window too.

The staff was located upstairs. The BBQ ribs were completely flavorless—I've never encountered ribs that lacked taste. The potato salad tasted like something you'd get from Walmart. The BBQ beans were decent, slightly better than typical canned pork and beans. It's truly disappointing to refer to this as a grill.
