Gary's Drive In, LLC - Owensboro

This was a wonderful surprise for us during our trip to ParisThe online menu looked good so we booked a reservation.

I was so excited to come here, and ended up being disappointed.

I was shocked at the gap between the reviews and the quality of the food. This would not fly as good vegetarian food--or just good food--in any U.S.

Every since the pandemic I’ve been work from home, out of Henderson. One of the things that I miss is Gary’s driving over in Owensboro. I know it’s not that far, but when you work there it’s a lot easier to go there. Gary’s has one of the best burgers in Owensboro. Just be prepared you will wait a little while while they prepare your food but when it comes out it is hot! So don’t get all upset about the time it takes. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes which were cooked perfectly and had just a Lotta flavor. Cheese sticks I mean who messes up cheese sticks. Well some people do and you know that’s true! But Gary’s did not. But the burgers! That’s where it’s at. They have inside and outside dining, and also a drive-through if that’s what you want. If you’re looking for a really good drive-in food experience, and Gary’s is the place to go.

Great food. You get what you paid for. Worth the wait. Love their chuck wagon sandwich! The meat overlaps the bun! They also have delicious shakes! I love this little place! And in my opinion, anyone who is a big fan of diners would love it too.
