No complaints about the food...but the customer service leaves much to be desired. Something is seriously off with the manager/owner. She literally always has a completely rude and uninviting demeanor. Something i don't understand...if you don't like people don't work in food or customer service..its really that simple. They will also keep you waiting for a minimum of 15 min when you walk in the store or call in....

WHATEVER YOU DO DONT PAY $3 extra for plantain . They were dry,, cold, stiff and stale! I should contact the health department because you’ll know your wrong for that!! It was cold dry and hard. Has nothing to do with the season. I could tell they’d been sitting out for a long time. Gave me diarrhea. Please don’t eat hear or believe their response!!! Nasty dirty place to eat!!!

The food is excellent, I was very surprised by how good everything was, and I intend to keep going back. Very friendly service too. The Jamaican beef patties are incredible.

I stopped in by chance because my 88 yr old mom asked “have you ever heard of curry chicken?” I told her I’d try to find her some for dinner. Not being a fan of island food I just remembered seeing this place and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the service was kind. I expected to just get the curry chicken but the dinner also came with nice vegetables and plantains, great value! As I opened the container to plate the food for my mother the aromas hit me and I just had to give a try, making sure it was ok for mom of course ?. That food was SO delicious and FLAVORFUL, I ended up eating about half of moms food. Mom is from the old school and super picky and she cleared her plate in complete silence and said she “REALLY enjoyed it”. I called at least two people to tell them about it and how the food tasted like grandma’s cooking. And just like that, I went from not being a fan to being an absolute fan of K and T island taste.
