Linwoods - Owings Mills

The food was delicious, the service was great! I tipped extra because my husband and I had an emergency at home so we couldn't finish our dining experience for his birthday but our server and service was awesome!

We had a delicious meal at Linwood's. The food was sublime and the Sister's service was fantastic. Best French Onion Soup I have ever had , the sea bass was scrumptious and the banana cream pie was as good as my grandma's....which was awesome! Can't wait to go back.

It was outstanding. My server was attentive and kind. She was very knowledgeable and understood the pace my guest and I wanted. The food was unbelievable! The trout, which is apparently new to the menu, blew me away. I will back very soon ?

We have eaten at Linwoods MANY MANY times. The dining experience we had this past Sunday night was pretty terrible. It was a less busy night for them than is typical. This made what we encountered all the more bizarre. The waitress assigned to our table came to the table only once...to pour water. She NEVER returned to take our order for cocktails or food, while she busily buzzed all around us serving other tables and avoiding eye contact with us. More than 30 minutes passed. I had to get the attention of another waiter to get some service. So very strange. The other waiter apologized, and took our order. We asked for the floor manager who also came out and apologized. He comp'd our appetizers. AFTER all of this, the original waitress waltzed up, tapped my guest on the shoulder and mumbled that “somebody” would be coming by to take our order. No explanation. No mea culpa. No apology. NOTHING. Just flitted off to attend to other guests. Absolutely inexcusable. We won't be in any hurry to return.

Always a pleasure to dine at Linwoods. Roy, our server was attentive, helpful and gracious. The food was outstanding. The fried oyster appetizer was especially good. Our steaks were served as ordered. An overall delightful experience. My favorite county restaurant.
