Red Lobster - Oxnard

First of all, our server Cindy was excellent. She was very kind and promptly resolved the issue we encountered. I chose items from the '3 from the sea' menu, including the Caesar salad, crispy coconut shrimp, and Atlantic salmon with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. All of which were quite good. Unfortunately, the quality check for the two main lobster tails we ordered was lacking. While one was perfect and delicious, the other was shriveled, brown, and had a unpleasant odor. However, they quickly replaced it with a new one. Overall, it wasn't a bad dining experience and I still enjoyed my meal despite the issue with the lobster tail.

.We tried the Seafarer's feast and it was amazing. The lobster, shrimp, and scallops were all fresh and delicious. We were very pleased with our meal.

They were very short staffed on the day I went (only 2 servers for the entire restaurant). But to balance it out and not overwork the servers, they made customers wait until seating them. Plenty of open tables, but definitely understand why. Well managed! Staff was obviously overwhelmed, yet they were still so friendly and efficient. Food is great! Portions are very big. Be careful not to over-order. Great place to go with a group and try different things.

We had a lovely dinner here. The staff, though in short supply, were friendly, fast, and efficient. They had us sat within a few minutes. Our food came out quickly and we were happy with the meal. The customers were another story. Seriously, I cannot believe how rude and demanding people were behaving. One person told their server it's not COVID anymore so why should they have to wait. Ridiculous. I wish I could do more for the staff here. They put up with too much. Thank you to everyone that helped us!
