Bidra med feedbackRick Sentlinger The food is fantastic! I'm a native Californiar, PB is as good as anywhere I've eaten! The staff is friendly, helpful and punctual! We've been customers for three years, we're going at least once a week.
I 'm from San Diego, CA. When we moved here 5 years ago I truly thought we would never have a real burrito or taco again... then I met Carlos and Purple Burrito. They are from close by where we lived! It says, Authentic Southern California Mexican Food on the sign. It 's absolutely true! Love this place!
We go every Taco Tuesday. Great street tacos, and you can’t beat the price: one dollar per taco. They are all good, but my favorite are the fish tacos.
I finally discovered a fantastic burrito place in my area! The staff and owners are genuinely delightful people. Her friendly yet composed demeanor was just what we needed today. The dining area is cozy, and the window seats offer a lovely view of Ozark from a unique angle. Naturally, we ordered California Burritos during our visit, and everything was perfection. The portion sizes were quite generous, so come hungry! I still believe a 5-star rating is well-deserved, although I do have a minor complaint: the hot sauce had a somewhat “fermented” taste, but it was very spicy. The sweet sauce was satisfactory, but the other two (Verde and Chipotle) were rather bland. I assume these sauces were made in-house and there may have been an ingredient mix-up. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and will definitely be back. I highly recommend it to anyone tired of the other Mexican-style eateries in the area.
I had a wonderful experience at the Purple Burrito. The food was amazing and captured the essence of authentic Californian-style Mexican cuisine. I live in the St. Louis area, where there's a restaurant called Lily's in Tower Grove, which is also a Californian Mexican spot, and I can confidently say that Purple Burrito is just as good. As a picky eater, I was pleasantly surprised by this gem in a small town—it might even surpass the Latin American restaurant in the city. If you find yourself in Ozark, Missouri, this is definitely the place to satisfy your Mexican food cravings.
