Bidra med feedbackI saw this restaurant got good reviews, so I thought I would try. I went to the restaurant and saw the outside and became hesitant. I decided to walk in and it has a wonderful atmosphere. There's a cow on the wall. The waitress gives us the menu that looks like a newspaper. On the front it tells the story of how this building was a sheep bar 70 years ago and later turned into a restaurant. The food reminds me of a restaurant when I was a kid serving chicken fried steak with land engraving. I'm so glad I stopped here.
Traveling back to San Angelo thru Ozona Tx On a Sunday meals are so bland with limited locations that provide a sit down meal. This location not only was open on Sunday, but allowed my daughter to bring in her pet as long as it was in a carrier. Meal was delicious and savory to my palet The sweet tea was refreshing and delicious A location to definitely return to. After a good meal a nice breezy rose garden walk to admire.
I came to town at 8:30 and needed a place that was open late. The restaurant also acts as a club $5 membership fee, so you have a beer with your dinner I have a steak. Very good. Not cheap, but nothing is in this part of Texas.
I have the Ribeye Special and it was pretty good, you can say it was fresh steak. And it was really surprising. The grilled potatoes with the onions were good after I had salted them quite hard. The Okra was okay. About all foods was Bland, but I was satisfied
Do not let the rustic exterior fool you!. There's something really good food here! I had the British burger and it was huge! An appetite :
